Full-Service Wireless Network Design
RF Engineering
Comsearch RF engineering services create reliable, high-quality wireless networks that adhere to stringent design procedures and project timelines. This iterative process involves working with site acquisition and zoning restrictions, evaluating unique site design configurations, and detailing all site parameters to allow for rapid construction and installation.
Comsearch RF engineers work diligently with the customer and all project disciplines such as civil engineering, site acquisition, construction, and program management to deliver quality enhancements and additions to the wireless network.
- Detailed Site Selection and Design
We analyze candidate site locations, model them, and assess them for viability and adherence to objectives. We determine RF parameters such as antenna types, antenna heights, ERP, tilt angles, etc.
- Field Measurements and Analysis
We conduct measurements to validate predicted signal levels and/or interference levels. We use measurement integration techniques to refine propagation models or morphology regions.
- Interference Analysis and Frequency Planning
We perform detailed interference calculations to evaluate the individual site and its relationship to the environment. We assign frequencies based on capacity requirements and strict adherence to required interference criteria.
- System Analyses
We perform other system-level analyses to ensure ease of integration of the new site(s) into the existing wireless network. We conduct analyses such as best server, handoff, intermodulation, etc., depending on the specific wireless technology being deployed.
