Full-Service Wireless Network Design
Network Planning
Comsearch advocates careful planning to ensure optimum quality and reliability in your wireless network. This complex process includes analyses of physical topography and morphology, propagation studies, different equipment scenarios, and more. Preliminary site selection, frequency engineering, and traffic and demand analyses determine the initial configuration of the network. Comsearch's cost/benefit engineering practices at this stage will have far-reaching effects on the overall performance and long-term profitability of your wireless network. The following services are available in the network planning stage.
- Determine Target Design Areas
We evaluate customer requirements, marketing objectives, and demographic analyses to define the target deployment areas.
- Create Initial Site Database
We draw upon multiple existing communication site databases and the use of any "friendly" customer sites to create an initial set of possible sites.
- Link Budget Evaluation
We calculate link budgets for the preferred equipment configurations to determine initial cell sizing and/or link ranges.
- Preliminary RF Design
We establish a network topology to meet the target design objectives. We choose candidate sites based on coverage or link range objectives, capacity requirements, and availability of existing or "friendly" site locations. We produce propagation predictions and analyze them based on available terrain, morphology, and clutter databases.
