iQ·clear^® is a comprehensive engineering software tool for the prediction and assessment of interference between PCS and microwave systems. It determines the extent to which spectrum may be shared between a potential PCS system and incumbent microwave users.

iQ·clear was developed to plan and analyze a PCS system in accordance with FCC rulings on coexistence with microwave incumbents.

iQ·clear remains the US market leading tool operating on a Sun Solaris workstation. This product has been used by customers as well as by engineers internally at Comsearch to design more than 80% of the domestic PCS (A & B block) markets.

Customers include major operators and equipment manufacturers in the United States, Canada, Taiwan, and Mexico. The product can be customized as necessary based upon unique international requirements.

TARGET AUDIENCE

iQ·clear was developed by, and for, RF engineers who plan, analyze and design PCS systems in accordance with governmental agency mandates, e.g., FCC, on coexistence with microwave incumbents. The software can be customized based on specific international requirements and allows the user to perform basic interference analyses including PCS-to-microwave, microwave-to-PCS, spectrum recommendation and collocation.
