Spectrum Usage Studies


The Spectrum Usage Study provides a classification and description of spectrum use for any frequency band from 3 MHz to 60 GHz. The study may include any or all of the following sections. We will customize the report to fit your request.

  • Statistics for total incumbent counts by channel
  • Plots depicting the geographic distribution of the incumbents. Includes any service area boundaries

  • Statistics for total incumbent counts by licensee name
  • Technical characteristics of the incumbents


  • * Data may include the following fields: callsign, status, coordinates, location state, elevation, antenna height, EIRP, frequency, antenna information, radio information.

Regulatory Assessment
  • Summary of interference issues
  • Summary of regulatory rules
  • Future proposed changes or current band action

The final spectrum usage study is a compilation of Microsoft® Word, Microsoft Excel, and ESRI or MapInfo® electronic files or paper plots.
