Spectrum Usage Studies
The Spectrum Usage Study provides a classification and description of spectrum use for any frequency band from
3 MHz to 60 GHz. The study may include any or all of the following sections. We will customize the report to fit your request.
Spectrum Overview
- Numerical breakdown of frequency allocations
- Description of the types of services allocated
- Statistics for total incumbent counts by channel
- Plots depicting the geographic distribution of the incumbents. Includes any service area boundaries
Technical Assessment
- Detailed incumbent data*
- Licensee names and contact information
- Statistics for total incumbent counts by licensee name
- Technical characteristics of the incumbents
* Data may include the following fields: callsign, status, coordinates, location state, elevation, antenna height, EIRP, frequency, antenna information, radio information.
Regulatory Assessment
- Summary of interference issues
- Summary of regulatory rules
- Future proposed changes or current band action
The final spectrum usage study is a compilation of Microsoft® Word, Microsoft Excel, and ESRI or MapInfo® electronic files or paper plots.
