Comsearch Offers A New Online Interactive FCC Filing Service
ULS Express Streamlines the FCC Form 601 Filing Process

ASHBURN, VA - Comsearch announced today that in a cooperative effort with The Federal Communications Commission (FCC), it has developed an online application filing system called ULS Express that offers up to 90% automatic completion and batch filing of the FCC Form 601, as well as access to Comsearch licensing experts. The interactive system is available for Part 101 Common Carrier Microwave, Private Operational Fixed Microwave, and Part 74 Broadcast Auxiliary Microwave services users.

ULS Express works with the FCC's Universal Licensing System (ULS) and proprietary Comsearch databases to automatically pre-populate over 90% of FCC Form 601 applications and allows users to prepare multiple applications simultaneously. Comsearch has integrated information from its proprietary databases with highly accurate technical and administrative data from prior path coordination records into their ULS Express system. Users can easily download technical data to automatically populate appropriate fields on their Form 601 applications.

Comsearch's development of ULS Express positions it as the first frequency coordinator to meet the FCC's challenge of providing licensees with a more streamlined ULS filing process for Part 101 and Part 74 services. Comsearch has developed and invested in this innovative online licensing system, enabling users to quickly, efficiently, and accurately complete their applications.

ULS Express contains all of the error-checking routines currently found within the FCC's ULS system plus Comsearch's intuitive checks for common filing errors. This interactive system minimizes time spent on methodical form filing, increases data accuracy and decreases the number of returned applications due to inaccurate or incomplete applications. ULS Express users also have access to advice and tips from Comsearch licensing experts.

"For a quarter century Comsearch has been serving the wireless industry by working to facilitate and improve the spectrum management process. ULS Express is a secure, interactive vehicle that achieves this goal by both complementing and enhancing the FCC's current licensing system," said Chris Hardy, vice president of Spectrum Management Solutions for Comsearch.
