Comsearch Announces Sale of IQ·Link to KPN Mobile
Product Supports Point-To-Point and Point-To-Multipoint Network Design
RESTON, VA - Comsearch announced today sales of its premier microwave path design software to KPN Mobile of The Netherlands in a deal valued at over $200k in software licenses and support.
IQ·Link®, a comprehensive engineering software tool that performs complex spectrum allocation and frequency engineering for hundreds of microwave links easily, including multiple link scenarios. The tool enables a customer to display GIS data, perform path and reliability calculations, and conduct fast, comprehensive interference analyses in order to have a complete solution for the planning and designing of point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, and wireless local loop networks.
KPN Mobile provides a comprehensive range of products and services through its mobile networks. They have established an international presence in Germany (E-Plus), Belgium (KPN Orange), Hungary (Pannon GSM), Ukraine (UMC), and Indonesia (Telkomsel). KPN Mobile licensed the IQ·Link tool to design their new microwave network as the first operator of a GSM 1800 system in The Netherlands.
