PCIA SELECTS COMSEARCH AS FREQUENCY COORDINATOR FOR PCS '99 IN NEW ORLEANS

Reston, VA-- Comsearch has been selected by PCIA to provide frequency coordination services for PCS '99. Comsearch will provide these services to exhibitors who require frequencies in the 1.9-GHz band for product demonstrations. TeleCorp has granted temporary use of their licensed spectrum for this purpose.

Comsearch will use its frequency analysis software, IQ·Clear®, and engineering capabilities to evaluate the potential for interference between exhibitors and existing microwave systems. IQ·Clear contains the full complement of Comsearch's microwave databases and now offers a cost sharing assessment feature.

"Frequency coordination plays a critical role in the success of the PCS '99 show. We had such a positive response from our exhibitors to the service provided by Comsearch for previous shows that our decision to select Comsearch was an easy one," says Dennis S. Corcoran, Sr. Vice President of PCIA.

Comsearch designs, deploys, and optimizes wireless networks worldwide. Comsearch provides engineering data and solutions to operators of Microwave, Mobile Satellite, Cellular, PCS, and Fixed Wireless Networks. In addition to experienced engineers, our software and technical training address the engineering challenges of fixed wireless design and spectrum analysis. Comsearch, a communications engineering firm, is an Allen Telecom Company (NYSE: ALN).
