Celebrating 30 Years of Expert Spectrum Management
for Complex Wireless Networks

Comsearch has over 30 years of experience providing spectrum management and software and data solutions to the wireless markets. Our solutions focus on key areas of spectrum management including frequency planning and administration, monitoring and interference measurements, wireless engineering, and strategic consultation. Our experienced engineers, software products and information databases have addressed the specific challenges of network design and spectrum management for the wireless industry in both the commercial and government sectors.

Comsearch meets the needs of the rapidly evolving cellular and wireless markets. Founded in 1977 to address the prior coordination needs of the developing microwave network companies (e.g., MCI Telecommunications). In 1989, Comsearch was purchased by Alliance Telecommunications Corporation and simultaneously merged with Spectrum Planning, Inc. of Dallas. This merger combined the spectrum management expertise of Comsearch with the mobile and wireless experience of Spectrum Planning. In 1992, Comsearch was purchased by The Allen Group of Cleveland during their formation of the consortium of telecommunications companies known as the Allen Telecom Group. In 2003, Andrew Corporation (NASDAQ: ANDW) acquired Allen Telecom. The combined company resulted in the number one global supplier of coaxial cables, RF power amplifiers, terrestrial microwave antennas, network geolocation solutions, and repeaters and in-building systems; and the number two global merchant provider of filters and base station antennas. On December 27, 2007, CommScope, Inc. (NYSE: CTV), announced it's acquisition of Andrew Corporation; "CommScope-Andrew: Better Together." CommScope is a world leader in infrastructure solutions for communication networks, structured cabling systems for business enterprise applications, manufacturer of coaxial cable for broadband cable television networks, and one of the leading North American providers of environmentally secure cabinets for DSL and FTTN applications. As part of the new CommScope, Comsearch retains its brand name and is able to provide total end-to-end solutions as well as its traditional core services and solutions.

Comsearch is the industry leader in spectrum management, including frequency analysis and licensing, protection, sharing, and field services. We offer full life cycle engineering, including program management, network planning, RF engineering, site development, equipment installation and testing, system optimization and performance evaluations, and site audits in support of all wireless communications technologies, including PCS, cellular, microwave, satellite, fixed wireless, and broadband networks.

Comsearch has engineered over 200,000 microwave paths for more than 5,000 customers worldwide.
