Network Performance Evaluation
The network performance evaluation phase begins after sites have been commissioned and integrated into the network. The evaluation effort strives to maximize the performance of your wireless broadband network and achieve network quality goals necessary for launch to the public. It involves system performance measurements, analysis of measurement data, and refining system parameters to achieve optimum performance.
- Field Performance Measurements. Field personnel collect site and system measurements to validate that the site meets network design criteria and operates as an integrated part of the system.
- Data Analysis. Statistical analyses on collected measurements evaluate key parameters of the operational site. This data analysis can uncover many problems with the network prior to provision of service to customers. It can provide a good indicator of overall system performance.
- Optimizing the System. Based on the results of the analysis, recommendations to modify system or site parameters are made in order to maximize the network performance.
